Hi, I’m Kristin Evans

I became a nutrition coach because I kept seeing the same gap in my clinical work -- people who knew what they should be doing but couldn't make it stick in real life. Not because they lacked discipline or motivation, but because the advice they were getting wasn't built around their actual life.

I've been on my own journey with food and my body for most of my adult life. I know what it's like to try every approach, track everything, and still feel like you're fighting yourself. I also know what it feels like to finally stop fighting and start building something sustainable instead. That experience shapes how I work with every client.

I believe nutrition should feel like something you do for yourself -- not to yourself.

As an athlete:

I didn't come to endurance sport with an athletic background. In 2019, with nothing but some recreational bike riding behind me, I signed up for my first triathlon. Five years later I was toeing the line at the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

After Kona something shifted. I stopped feeling the need to prove anything -- to myself or anyone else -- and started racing purely for the challenge and the joy of it. Food became fuel instead of something to manage or fight.

That evolution led me off the pavement and into the dirt. Adventure racing pulled me in with something triathlon couldn't offer -- navigation, team dynamics, and the kind of mental fitness that gets tested hard when you're exhausted and still have hours to go.

Through all of it I managed my own nutrition. I learned firsthand what works, what doesn't, and how much a dialed-in fueling strategy matters -- not just on race day but in the months of training leading up to it. That's the gap I see most often in the athletes I work with, and it's where coaching makes the biggest difference.
